1. General Terms

Fast Road Conversions Ltd provides specialist automotive services including exhaust fabrication, ECU remapping, diagnostics and mechanical repairs.
By booking or authorising any work, you agree to these terms and conditions.

All quotations are provided as estimates unless otherwise confirmed in writing.
Prices are subject to change if additional work, parts, or time are required.
Bookings are confirmed once a deposit (if required) has been received. Deposits are non-refundable.
All invoices must be paid in full before the vehicle is released.
Vehicles left at Fast Road Conversions are stored at the owner’s risk. We accept no liability for theft, damage, or loss caused by third parties or circumstances beyond our control.
Vehicles must be collected promptly once work is complete. Storage charges may apply after 7 days.
By leaving your vehicle with us, you authorise Fast Road Conversions to drive or test the vehicle for diagnostic, tuning, or quality control purposes.
Customers must ensure their vehicle is safe, roadworthy, and free of existing faults that could interfere with work being carried out.

2. Performance & ECU Remapping

All ECU remapping and tuning work carried out by Fast Road Conversions is intended for off-road or motorsport use only, unless otherwise stated.

Important Notes:

ECU remapping alters the vehicle’s factory calibration, which may affect emissions, fuel economy, and engine longevity.
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the vehicle remains road-legal, insured, and compliant with MOT or emissions regulations.
Fast Road Conversions accepts no liability for manufacturer warranty voids, insurance complications, or regulatory non-compliance following any tuning work.
Customers must ensure the vehicle is in good mechanical condition before tuning — including clutch, turbocharger, injectors, and engine health.
Fast Road Conversions is not responsible for failure or wear to components that are already weak or defective prior to remapping.
Diagnostic scans are performed before tuning, but hidden or intermittent faults may not always be detectable.
Data logs and ECU files remain the intellectual property of Fast Road Conversions.

Fuel Requirement:
Customers bringing vehicles for ECU remapping or diagnostics must ensure sufficient fuel is in the tank before arrival.
Insufficient fuel can delay or prevent work from being completed. Fast Road Conversions will not be responsible for delays or extra charges resulting from low fuel levels.

3. Exhaust Warranty & Terms

Fast Road Conversions stainless steel exhaust systems come with a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.

Exhaust Exclusions

This warranty does not cover:

Damage caused by misuse, abuse, or improper maintenance
Damage from accidents or collisions
Modifications or alterations to the exhaust system
Damage caused by external factors (e.g. road debris)
Consequential damage (to other parts caused by a covered defect)
Removal or reinstallation costs
Work carried out by anyone other than Fast Road Conversions
Racing, rallying, or track use

Component-Specific Warranties

Catalytic Converters: 1-Year Warranty
Flexi Sections: 2-Year Warranty

Warranty Conditions

The vehicle must be returned to Fast Road Conversions for inspection or rectification.
The warranty is valid only while the customer remains the registered keeper.
Fast Road Conversions does not guarantee that exhaust systems will meet specific noise limits or pass noise/emissions tests.
The warranty does not extend to silencers or other parts not fabricated by Fast Road Conversions.

4. Mechanical Warranty & Terms

All mechanical labour carried out by Fast Road Conversions includes a 12-month or 12,000-mile warranty, whichever occurs first.
This applies only while the customer remains the registered keeper of the vehicle and cannot be transferred.

Not Covered

Wear and Tear: Routine items such as brake pads, tyres, fluids, and wiper blades
Accidents or Damage: Including vandalism, road hazards, or natural disasters
Misuse or Negligence: Improper maintenance, abuse, or misuse of the vehicle
Pre-existing Faults: Issues present before work began

Additional Conditions

All warranty work must be completed by Fast Road Conversions.
Failure to follow any post-service advisories may void the warranty.
Alloy wheel repairs are excluded from warranty due to the reduction in structural integrity once repaired. Customers are advised to replace cracked wheels.

5. Liability

While every care is taken with each vehicle, Fast Road Conversions shall not be held liable for:

Indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage
Personal belongings left in the vehicle
Damage caused by third-party suppliers or external contractors
Engine or drivetrain failure following tuning if caused by pre-existing wear or customer misuse

6. Vehicle Collection and Storage

Vehicles must be collected as soon as work is completed unless prior arrangements have been made.
Vehicles left longer than 7 days may incur storage fees.
Vehicles left uncollected for 30 days without contact may be considered abandoned and handled in accordance with UK law.

7. Data Handling

Fast Road Conversions may record ECU data, diagnostic information, and contact details for internal use and future service reference.
We do not sell or share personal data with any third party.
All customer data is stored securely and used only for legitimate business purposes in compliance with GDPR.

8. Governing Law

All services provided by Fast Road Conversions Ltd are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the UK courts.
